VW T5 EDC16U31 OBD read protection please help

Hi i have a T5 which i cant read by obd tried different tools. So i think it is locked because it was modified by the preowner. can someone please deactivate the obd read protection. And maybe also delete the DTCs P161E, P161C and P161B? Thank you very much.

Hello, EDC16U31 dont have read protection, you can remove ecu and read it on the table using mpps and kess. all the best :)

or let the ignition stay on for 30 minutes before u read it over obd

But why... he got bdm read so he can also write bdm and no need for.

the car got already egr off and dpf off from a tuner and i think this gy set obd read protection (as far as i know this is possible on EDC16) and to read ths car in the future i would like to disable this protection.

this is only "block" for absolut starter... noread tags for winols no obd bit block.
search a bit and you found solution for set obd block on edc15-edc16... and if you do you know what to do.
