I've finally got access to a car that's a bit simpler to work with when it comes to maps. It's my brother's Astra H 2006 z19dth which, from what I've read so far is edc16c39 ecu.
I've already found a mappack for that ecu and there's loads of info out there but, I'm trying not to muddy the water at all (because im trying to learn) so I'm hoping to work through it a map at a time if you wouldn't mind helping?
It'll be a while before I get the chance to read it as he has a few jobs to do first but I'll be doing the full read with ktag and it seems I even already have the optisan adapter I need!
I'll be working with the methods from "vagecumap" and I've already built most of his calculators in excel but may need a bit of guidance along the way
For the first question; what map to start with?
And, secondly, the mappack I have has a map named lambda which looks to be stoic figures to me I.e. they're between 16 and 20 instead of 0.89 - 1.20 like I'd expect, am I correct?
