thanks sir. I signed up a long time ago, but i always thought it took a very long time to get responses. kinda like how folks used to slack off from ebay cuz it took so long, but now we noticed ebay and amazon have gotten faster. likewise i see faster responses here, so i try. lol. thanks again. I found the mileage location in the hex, but only by comparing to another bin. i have yet to figure out what algorithm or strategy to use to turn "27,123 miles", into 4 lines of HEX. i I see a few folks who do it fast, i envy that kinda skill.

thanks for correcting my forum manners. i forgot i had to be logged in to even see the thanks button. computer crashed so when i got back on, it wasnt logged in. i tried the file with the modded miliage but it showed "error" in place of the mileage. i was wondering , is it possible that the entire file has a checksum? in this way, just changing the certain lines didnt pass the file checksum? just wondering. or maybe theres another fix. thanks again for all your help and these fast responses lol
