VW Golf4 1.9 TDI 110HP speed limiter

With VCDS, speed limiter is 190km, but not increase, only decrease, very dangerous option.

EDC15 speed limiter must be in eeprom, but i dont see it.

In Flash this old car not speed limiter.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Are you sure, that there is speed limiter at all?
Short to ground the speed signal in the RADIO connector and test if the car pass 190 km/H...
Or unplug the VSS and test the speed with GPS Navigation.

This car have speed limit, vcds read this information ot ecu on show, and VW service Germany confirmed that there is a speed limiter right in the ecu eeprom, but the laws do not allow them to remove it or reveal the algorithm to me.
I will try to remove the speed sensor signal, see what happens, it makes sense, if it is the computer's memory, there is nothing to compare it with.

with remap and without limiter... ~5-10km/h faster :O, less power, gearbox...

Yes, thats right. This car limited on 170km, this is problem. Without VSS sensor with remap, car top speed 205km gps sensor. With remap and with connect VSS sensor car top speed 170km again. Original speed limit on this car is 190km, but someone has played with VCDS option decrease Vmax speed.
At the moment I will overwrite the memory of another car that has not been touched by the limiter in the memory and so it will be 190km again.

if you think the limit is in the eeeprom,write eeprom dump from another ecu,synchro immo,or immo off,and try.

Already done, car speed limiter back to 190km, with eeprom on second car. Now car top speed with VSS sensor 190km, without VSS sensor 205km.
