Hey guys . Today i tried to write a modified file to my car e92 328XI MSV80 with Kess v2 2.47 clone . The reading went perfect but when i started writing there was error and the program showed low voltage 0.77 and error occured with writing .
Can i rocover the ECU with the original file using Ktag ? I am from Canada Ontario can you reccomend someone that can help with this .

Clone KTag cant read password... so need original KTag for MSD8x, MSV8x...
Test to flash back original via kess and Update via diagnostics. Need good power supply.

You need tool which can read ecu ( isn code)... clone tool cant. So need original ktag, pcm, x17, autotuner...

MSV80 does not use mpc. It uses Tricore and bdm has been disabled for the area that contains the isn. Tools I know to get ISN via can lines is autohex, avdi(maybe), vvdi2 and cdgi.

@Iksana12

What I do when replacing msv80's is get a matching used dme, pull ISN from used dme, write isn to ori cas then update dme with ista.

You be right. No MPC at this ecu. My fault. Another cheap tool AT-200. or see above.
