After a happy success this morning uploading a few versions of files to a test vehicle (scrap yard vehicle), I'd like to now do my Smart car from the original file that I've just downloaded using Kess v2.
The ECU was downloaded as a EDC16C31. Software version: 1037510855. Original file is attached to view.
ECM shows me the different maps for injection, turbo and limiters.
I have been having a play with bits and pieces. So far I've done a few EDC15's and a SID208.
Can I have some guidance on where on the maps I should be changing? I'd like to keep EGR on the vehicle. Any tutorials for this would be good also. I have safe copies of the files so happy to play around a bit with this.
I've downloaded from the Smart using a Kess v2 through OBD. I guess I can upload again no problems with encoding, checksum, etc... I understand some ECD16's are encoded? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
