Hello can someone help me with this problem. Winols told me that it's already tuned, so file seems to be secured somehow, I could't found any noread tag.
this software is readed with ktag

car is 2006 skoda octavia 2.0tdi (BMM) edc16u34

Edc16 with NOREAD marker is better to read by BDM port, because cannot read by OBD. Some original tuning tool maybe can readed by OBD but my chinese tools cannot.

I tested with Galleto V54 chinese clone and cannot be read. When remove noread marker, the ecu can be readed.

But if u read it obd and you have very small file this not help ;)


if noread not in obd area it make no sense than can u also write noread on the ecu house

or think you when u noread write in file the ecu say "there is noread now i kill my read function" :-D


noread is a protection from the flasher tools

some test it some not if not it reads also

2 steps and have editable file without opening ECU.

kess v2 read obd noread files. did hundred times. mpps decrypt file, kess read full and can save. then with hex edit find noread and replace with ffffffffffffff
