Does anyone has dealing with this problem on BMW's before?
I have this 2007 M5. (USA MARKET) Electric steering column lock display is ACTIVE, therefore the vehicle once was turned off doesn't start again and a red display only shows a padlock and a steering wheel.
Before BMW used to replace the whole steering column, but now they just replace the EVL. I did replace the EVL module/hardware, but now I have to reset the CAS to erase all the failed attempts.
My question is .... beside the new hardware and the CAS-EVL reset... is there anything else that must be performed in this vehicle?
