Hi friends, the problem is the following, I have a saab 93 and I have lost the keys, I bought 2 sets of Ecu-keys in the UK but none sent the CIM therefore the car did not start, it is impossible to find a complete set, for therefore I need to encode the donor vehicle data in the original CIM so that the vehicle starts.
ORIGINAL CIM: PIN 2GIQ VIN YS3FB46W991008024
DONOR CAR: PIN GT72 VIN YS3FB46V471137440
Attached files:
Eprom EDC16c39 Donor Car
Eprom 93lc66 CIM Original car
Capture, reading of the donor key transponder
thanksˇˇ

much better if you put everything (orig stuff) back to the car and use the orig CIM dump to write an exist key to a clone tp. After that you can start a car with the clone tp and even you able to learn remote keys bcose you have the pin. You can renew the used keys when you replace the 7946 and correctly precode them
tech2 is good choice to learning

Don't mess about with swapping stuff - read the 93LC66A and code a key into it.

Ok, could you help me write the donor key in the original cd dum? What is necessary in the first post, or do I need a new key?

Clone TP is transponder in which you can change also ID, so it will emulate original existing key in car.

find a locksmith and "outsorce" eeprom dump to clone tp part. obviously you are not know what you do in this case and you don't have proper tools for this job

I have bought a new key (32 usd china for saab 9-3) and I have the car pin, I have ordered the 32mb ssab card for tech2 maybe the solution.

without working key the tech2 not working. You will need at least one working key. Thats the reason why you need the "Eeprom to clone tp" part
edit: the cheinse keys need to be correctly precoded without precodng the car not accept those. And those are mostly crap (hw)..

It is not like in opel that with code pin + virgin key and tech 2 is encoded?

No it's not. If you'd made some research on this forum you would know that. As jodge said above, without working key you cannot program new key by OBD even with you have PIN. Solution is program new key by eeprom dump or if I'm not mistaken - change CIM with working key and program CIM to car.

- load the orig cim eeprom dump in to any decent prommer, tango, mira, tmpro whatever. Choose an exist key and write to a clone id46 tp
- put this clone tp into an empty saab key fob
- turn the ignitopn and start the car if all ok
- buy used orig saab key(s) replace the 7946 and precode them with any decent prommer. Like above. Forget the chinese crap
- use the cloned "empty" key to turn the ignition and with tech2 learn the renewed key(s)
job done

the car starts with a preprogrammed tp and with CIM writing, now I will look for a way to program a command to open and close doors.
