61 reg. Car came in non runner. Fault is with clocks,been told software or eeprom fault. Tried to read clock with mileage tool and now gone into boot mode. Is it possible to repair and what is best way. I have been reading digiprog3 can repair,is this correct and with a digiprog3 clone tool. Can anyone help. Thanks.

Hey, have you tried to remove the instrument cluster fuse?

Yes,and tried battery reset. Think it corrupted eeprom or flash

Try ray reading again with your machine. Happened to me. I kept trying and it finally came on..

try mileage agein with digiprog, than come back to live. easy money.

I used lonsdor k518ise to try and program, but clock just went off. Can I use clone digiprog 3.

I meant if it came in dead. If you cant fix it, flatten the battery as far as yiu can, push it out, charge nothing send it on its way

For what I have read,if you try and read clocks on Audi a3 it has a protected chip inside and goes into boot mode. So I need to get it out of this.

Still not fixed? What's so hard to understand?

If I understand you correctly, you said it went black after reading with mileage tool.

Like I said, connect digiprog and read again. This happens a lot. Then comes back to live.
(Or read flash and upload here, but that's more work)
