Hello,

I have customer with Opel Ampera (rebadged Chevrolet Volt) and I'm not sure if it's possible to program new keyless fob without use of any OBD equipment, because I saw this is possible for Volt but seen some opinions for Opel Ampera it's not possible. Anyone have a clue about this? Here's the video:

Advanced Diagnostics info quest state it's possible to program via OBD so if on board procedure would not work I will try but first would like to know if someone tried this DIY procedure.

Keydiy makes this smart key type,. Atleast one that looks the same, in the Buick and Chevrolet section.
And xhorse a 2017-2019 type volt smartkey.

Could you check if any of these smartkeys work?

I have seen some volts, in the Netherlands.
And lots of amperas, never had 1 in the shop.

I don't have PIN so I'm also wondering if it's based on BCM system simillar to Astra J / Insignia.

It should be based on bcm like on most Opel(Astra J/Insignia etc...).
