I guess nobody has one??. It does look like a Carbrain clone. The China clones dont get much love here in the States. I think this will go very cheap. I bought an OTC Pegisys w-cables on Ebay last week for $300.00US. I have been wanting to buy a cheap scan tool addon for a Samsung tablet pc I have. This unit looks good, I was hoping some one on this site might know more about this scanner.

My dear friend, I didn't said that I have xcar 431 , I said that I have Carbrain C168
I heard that xcar 431 can works with Carbrain softwear.
So in this forum if you search for Carbrain you'll find the last Carbrain softwear 15.68 and a patch for it.
So you can try it and I'm sure it will work for you

I can say anything abouut it because I didn't worked with it.

Sorry for this delay. Here's my experience with Xcar-413:

...first... as is declared in NOTE file the coverage is up to 2004

good (very good for earlier years) coverage to Asian-Korean market car (read, clear, real data, actuation, snapshot (very slow), almost like a dealer tool do but up to 2004 (even key progamming feature), especially for Toyota and Nissan

about Euro coverage: you can not rely on this tool because you can't expect what this tool do-with one car year you can do something but other year you can't.

Volvo's after '98 almost no coverage!!!!!!!! (even with CAN adaptor)

about USA market ....just bullshit for Crysler.... sorry for that. ........Engine only

Hehehe yes it's a littel bit stange because it's a lot of advertising there to keep the server alive.
After you click on the link that I posted here, a web page will open and you'll find a button named "Creat Download Link".
Click on it and it will open another web page where you find another button (red) named "Download".

I have this scanner in south america , the scanner works fine but in my case I need Opel brasil this unit dont support it, also some parameters dont show correctly, and 3th american brands are vovered up to 2007, but they will update in other words for the money is worth it but dont expect much from this unit , have some nice features too.

In china cost is 400usd original xcar is a copy of carbrain.

M8 for me is pretty easy but will be easy for everybody if you don't rush and take it easy when you try to download.
I will use it everytime because I can keep my backups on that server for free. The owner is a friend of mine.
Who wants to downlaod before give up can ask me and I will tell how to do it.
When I don't get it about someting I ask for explanation.
