Hello DK,

Today I made new key for 2010 Golf 6 with cluster 5K0920870F

All keys were lost and I removed the cluster to make key with supervag pogo cable and image dump though tango.

Everything goes as expected and procedure complete. But when I refit cluster to vehicle and start engine it is running fine, but car info display in cluster is showing 'Immobilizer Active' this car has not had immo off and will not start without chip.

Someone before me had tried to code a key with VVDI2 by OBD. I ask him what procedure he attempted and this what what he told me:
VVDI VW
> Key learn
> Immo VDO NEC 2009+ UDS
> Autodetect PIN/CS (VVDI return PIN and 6 bytes CS)
> Learn

He said vvdi then said success message but car did not start but he was able to use this key to program in remote.

I have looked through VVDI manuals and see there is a procedure called "Lost all key prepare dealer key OBD" which changes the CS and no more dealer keys will work. But what I could not find is what the method he tried to add the key attempts to do to the car when attempting to learn key with only 6 byte of cs?

I can upload config data read by AVDI and image dump read by supervag if it is helpful. I am looking for a solution to get the dash to stop displaying Immo Active message.

Thanks,

This is immo status menu I didn’t take a photo of parameter screen but there are no faults stored relating to immo or ecu in regards to immo but I will check the parameters next time I plug in and also good idea try with supervag relearn when dash shows 0/2 - 02/02 procedure worth a try. Thanks
