Hello all.

Relatively new to using dk so bear with me please!

I have 1999 sebring USA import to Europe with 2.5 v6 petrol engine and 95040 eeprom ecu. It has blue box type immo that works with remote only (no chip in key)

How to immo off this please as all remotes lost and customers car hasn't started now for 3 months!

I followed this thread: https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/198657-Chrysler-Stratus-2-0-gas-1997-immo-off

I used the off file posted on #36 but car starts and stops after 5 seconds and then won't start again until I write virgin file to eeprom again, and then I get another 5 secs

Is there anything else I can do or should do? Maybe if I can stop eeprom from changing file? Please any help?

Ok so I think I've nailed it :)

For anyone else in this problem here is what I did (forums are all about sharing and not simply putting 'solved' as I found a lot on this quest)

1. Dig out st95040 eeprom in ecu (pics online)
2. Write FFF to all eeprom except chassis number
3. Lift pin 5 (serial data in) of 95040
4. Remove relay in fuse box (by blue box) that flashes car headlights with alarm
5. Remove relay by pedals that controls interior lights by door opening
6. Remove 'service engine soon' warning light from dash

It's not ideal, I guess no fault codes will now be stored or can be erased, but if like me you're faced with this situation there's not much else you can do
