Hi
We have problem after installing Can Filter Gecko en EIS FAB4 Mercedes w212.
The vehicle stopped starting. According to the diagnosis there is a problem with the automatic gearbox is unconfigured and needs to be programmed. After removing the EIS filter and leaving the vehicle without a battery for a few minutes, the vehicle starts but does not change gears.
Has anyone had a similar or equal experience?
Thanks

I don't think the problem was created by the Gecko filter .I think you've done something wrong.
Thanks for your answer.

Possibly something has been done wrong, but only work on dash and EZS (EIS) other components were not touched

do you have communication with cluster with diag tool
Yes. With the only module that I can't communicate is the gearbox. Warning is shown with red letters that must be programmed.

will upload when i have my pc later. either way it is back to ori so does not matter for now. i think you need to recheck the component you removed to install the gecko. check soldering and check for solder that can cause shorts. i did hilux mssop and all was good except it read incorrect km. i check with magnifying glass and saw solder shorting two pins
