W204. Original cluster is faulty,no power. I put in used cluster but there's dashes for mileage obviously a mileage discrepancy. Is it possible to repair this. Is there a eeprom I can change from original cluster or eeprom dump to repair,thanks

you can virginize cluster and then do initial startup

How do I virginise cluster

i have cgdi mb which does mileage correction on mb. Will this not work. Or is only way virginise.

original file attached, merc.clock.orig. can someone edit info into the merc.clock.replace file please. dont no original mileage has clock has no power. thanks

Original file has around 205.120 kms, what is eeprom or processor of this cluster?

Eeprom is a 24c128.

did you test to swap eeprom from ori cluster to new cluster?

No didnt try that. New clock has different part number but been told compatible by merc specialists.

only put eeprom from original cluster to/in the donnor cluster (cut and paste...lol)

I will try and swap eeprom. Can you tell me what is mileage in replacent clock.

I put original eeprom on new pcb. Mileage is correct.but rev counter and speedo does not work. Can anyone help please.

is it possible software is diferent in the 2 clusters. the secondhand cluster was different part number,but was compatible. can anyone help please
