like every good tool i'm starting a support thread for Dashcoder 4 / Digiprog 4, everyone can post experiences and tips or manual instructions which aren't visible in the tool, and ask specific questions about the tool.

I'm a new user, so haven't had much experience yet. I tried 2016 JC Bsi; didnt work, but it's also not listed in the update list so that makes sense.

My first question; does trafic 2018 work? (2018 is different version from 2017 model).

Im Robert and i try to help with all your questions.
First of all please try to provide more infos what not work. Des it not read? Doesit not write? Does it show a error message. All that will help me to help you. Traffic 2018 work by obd. About your BSI, do you have the update version from last week? So a very new update? If yes give me a info if its a dashcoder or contact the digiprog support if its a digiprog. There was a small bug can bus protocoll. You will get the fix.

some guys say w213 without full lcd works without replacing mcu. when i check the menu i see options to soldering (same like w205 2016) so that makes sense.

Yes. But only a small count. Only the first series was not blocked for reprogramming. All later versions are blocked for erasing/reprogramming.

If you replace mcu you can skip menu 2.

And yes the other menu is for erase history and dtc s.

Smok PSA option is much better than DC , because DC support little PSA (bsi and dashboard ) can do on OBD and Smok PSA can do from 2005+ 90% bsi and dashboard on OBD

DC4 support Johnson, Valeo, Continental, Siemens and Delphi BSI in OBD.
so BSI is fully supported in OBD, Dash are not fully supported in OBD, here we support 308 3008 508 5008 C3 2016- , Jumpy 2016- Expert3 in OBD, the other dash we support by clip.

A great tool.

Did ford transit 2017 obd = perfect
Did open vivaro 2015 obd + abs obd = perfect
Did nissan leaf 2018 = failed .. can not do apparently.

Hi. Thank you for your info.
About the nissan leaf: there are 2 generations of the car. Leaf 1 is till 2017 and leaf 2 is from 2017. The menu for this was made as just the first generation exist. We will change the menu name , so its more clear that its just till 2017. Thanks for this note.

Normaly the Tool tell you if a version is possible or not. For 2017 JCI are the chances low, only version with d70f3426a are supported at moment.

All tools dont read 2014-205 scn because there is no need, read scn only works for 2015-2017 detected versions, Thats how customers know if a 2015 car is 2014-2015 or 2015-2017 and you dont select wrong option

Friend its not a problem. Everybody can be wrong sometimes. But i did answered you this question 2x before. Dc4 has a button that show you for every version how is the correct way to programm it. So you always know how to make. And read scn on a 2014 dash is a usefull function because you can read scn and write into a replacement dash. So all good.
