Read 68HC11A8 with Motorola Cracker 7.0. HELP.

Hi,
i´ve tried to build the shown device for the Motorola Cracker 7.0 to read a MC68HC11A8 (ZC98143CFN inside a Blaupunkt SQR88). I completly desoldert the MCU an soldert it to the four pins as shown.
It doesn`t work, just counting the attempts to boot the MCU. (i can read an write EEPROM with PonyProg on the same serial port, so the connection should be ok.)
I installed a MAX232, that should use 0,1uF (datasheet) but i used the 22uF like shown could this be a problem? I checked my DIY device like 20 times, should be ok...
Any help? (no, i do not want to buy a special programmer for only one MCU....) Maybe i could send the MCU to one of you (germany)

You can't read mcu (desoldered) only with these four wires. You're missing supply and quartz. When you power mcu and solder quartz, you will read it.

You need to cut all conections to pins: 20,21,17,2 from both side of PCB. (In in circuit mode.)

MCU can be 68HC11E9 or 68HC11A8. (Try to read as different HC11 micro.)

Also work only with 8MHz chrystal.

Try to read out with Polish programmer.

I´m a newbie in this great tech forum. I´ve studied mechanical engineering so everything dealing with electronic power is a little bit strange for me, but as a reliable engineer i try to learn from my "enemy".

Now enough of kidding. I´m collecting vintage Bimmers from the 80s and therefore I equiped all my cars with Blaupunkt SQR 88 radio devices from type Woodstock/memphis. 2 radios are running great, but 2 others I bought for further car projects have problems with the code. Their looked. :-(

I´m searching now for information for more than one year and I have collecteda a good tech documentation like the original manual, wiring diagramm, How-to-Install-Specs and so on. If you need information, please contact me.

What I know: The SQR48 Nashville and the SQR88 Woodstock and Memphis are the "high end" radios of the late 80s with good sound, due to a 4x20 Watt sinus power (Sqr48 only 4x10) and an aux in at the front (and lots of other stuff like cassette reverse function, Ari...).

The special thing is, that you can progamme an individual code from 0000-9999. After 15 wrong tries, the radio locks itself. The manual says that a Blaupunkt dealer has to open the device to unlock it. What they do is "vodoo" ;-) and i think it has never been cheap. :-D

Ok fine. I contacted Blaupunkt Germany- they couldn´t help me. I´ve read quite a lot in this forum and also on other russian tech websites.

The SQR-Series uses a MC68HC11A9 Motorola chip for all functions inculding storing the individual choosen code. ==> the "voodoo" seems to be quite easy: flash the chip and take a lot of money from the customer ;-)

Now my questions:

1. Am I right, that I have to cut off pin 20, 21, 17 and 2 on the wafer, but supply the radio with ground and +12v in turned on condition?
2. I need to buy the components of the wiring diagramme posted at the beginning of this thread? Motorola Cracker is my software and v7.0 was never been released! Latest version was 6.5 and looks like this:
