Hi, i too have 2005 kia sorento crdi 2.5 deisel motor auto, bosch ecu 0281 011 579 39100-4a810 a1b5ti01 , i swapped ecu because water entered the interior crossing a river. Now immo light doesnt show up and original keys turn over car but it wont fire, will the above eeprom work for me? and whats the cheapest programmer i can buy to do this,i tried my ez2010 but it onlt went up to 93series chips.
Also can i just replace the chips from my original ecu into the new ecu,if so i think one is the 95series 8 pin eeprom is there another? or just swapping one will work.
the dealer wants $300 just to scan the car before even looking at reprogramming,i already forked out $$$ for the second ecu so hopefully can do this my self.
