I have a problem with this car , it ran out of adblue , the customer filled it up but the error won’t go away. From what I understand when the counter reaches zero in will not start any more.
I checked the car with vcds for errors and there are no errors. I even checked the adblue level with vcds because I suspected the level sensor was broken but it shows ok

So which one is it- error or no errors? If so what error specifically? Were the refilling instructions followed as per the manual?

Sorry. Now I saw that I didn't post the picture.
When this error appeared , the car was filled with adblue ... and the error won't go away.

When I checked with VCDS in Engine -> Advanced Measuring Values -> Reducing agent fill level is 99.8 %

https://www.vw-manual.co.uk/store/icons/m/y/a283MY+https://www.vw-manual.co.uk/store/icons/m/y/n068MY= Selective catalytic reduction system faulty or not refilled using norm-standard AdBlue®. Go to a qualified workshop immediately. Have the system checked.

Assuming no faults:
VCDS Basic settings- Reset SCR Lock, Reset Tank Level. If it will let you perform SCR efficiency test.
