VW Touran PCR 2.1 death? Need advices

Hi Guys,


I unlocked PCR 2.1 from a Touran 2011 with ktag. Then I read the ECU with kess on bench. When clicking id it said "Unlocked" and id worked.

Then I read it with kess on bench. Worked too.

I tried to write the modified file with kess on bench to. After 100% it gave an error. Stupid me.

So I wrote the original file back, which worked fine.

I can id and read the ECU still on bench.

But in the car there is no communication with kess or vcds to the ecu.

When I make ignition on the fans starts to run and light goes on.

Any ideas?

When the ECU is dead, which used ECU can I buy? Which number is important? And who can adapt this ECU?

You can try to recover it with ODIS. When you recover it with ODIS it is in its original and locked state, then start over, you unlock in bench and read and write by OBD.


You can´t clone whit ktaj or kess clone... you need original interfaces, ABRITES, X17, FLEX that I know, and whit Online services.

upload oryginal eeprom, not unlock. if be back comunication, try reflash SGO ODIS, if You have possible.
