from ECU not read 7th byte - impossible, there are only 6 CS bytes in the ECU
what do you need to do ?

I do not have original kessy and no key (original kessy damaged by water - someone bought new one with numbers taken from original and lost original kessy without saving immo data from eeprom 93c86).
With AVDI I am able to adopt used kessy (siemens) and prepare new key with protag. But I can't find 7th byte. You are right that there is no 7th byte in ECU, but where can I find it
I adopt used kessy and key with CS (6 bytes from ECU and 7th byte = 0x00) VIN and immo ID from ECU. I used pcf 7936 as new key and in measured values in kessy key is OK (variable code, key status, fixed code). I have got 1 fault - steering column lock - signal implausible.
So I don't know if there is problem with immo data stored in ESL - I did lock adoptation with AVDI with success but ESL doesn't unlock.

Thanks for help
