hello everyone, i have two camry SAS which first stuck at 850 degree, then i reset it, light went off, but unable to get 0 degree when aligning to center, only able to get around 70 degree... both sas work the same, so i think that my solution is not good enough...
anyone has better solution that can align to 0 degree when center??? i attach the original fail file....thanks in advance!!

Steering wheel probably installed 70 degrees off alignment.

hi dear

this is quite tricky for me,
yesterday i was feel same problem and try some steps and get success,
1 first of all i get my crash clear data and write to eeprom thne
2 i connect scanner do test mode
3 i see live data for steering angle sensor degree (mine shown 312) then
4 i rotead plastic ring(white Pastick ring, and i didnt fit steering only steering angle sensor to socket) and set it to 0 deg, and reopen that module set alignment, then
5 connect to the original position (with Steering) and do test drive

my job done

some ppl say turn 2 rounds of steering angle sensor ring

ops its quite long description hope you get my point
if anyone get this information useful,
please appreciate by pressing thanks button

thanks and regards

i did exactly as your steps, got 70 degree when the plastic ring center(only to socket, not steering) ...
so you able to get 0 degree when you reopen the module set alignment??
actually my job done as well with 70 degree, no light on after test drive..
just that my customer doesnt really satisfy to see the 70 degree, it should be 0 degree...

Yes dear, you did perfect,
only you need to set 0 deg using white plastic ring manually and the re open cover with 2 screw fitted,
then set alignment of ring to fitting position, after that your scaner will show you 70 deg,
if you set without fitting 0 deg and you assemble without opening plastic ring scanner will show you 70 deg

thanks and regards
