Thanks Maaxxyy. Are there any basic precautions I would need to take?
Al
Edit: Would someone also be able to point me in the direction of any documentation on how to do this?

Sorry I thought Tacho Universal was an application not a device itself:
Universal dash programmer 2008 TACHO UNIVERSAL NEW PDF USER MANUAL (ADP) (SZC663) - US$ 437.99 (http://www.lightinthebox.com/Universal-dash-programmer-2008-TACHO-UNIVERSAL-NEW-PDF-USER-MANUAL--ADP---SZC663-_p43007.html)
Is there a way of changing the mileage with a laptop and OBD cables. Rather than buying this unit which is about ?400?

In a word NO mate .... There are Two memories to change in the cluster ... (3c46 /c56 .. and Black /White code plug ... If you have an eeprom reader...And are able to read and post the two dumps ... then we can Edit them ... I have a suggestion .... Google Mileage correction in your area... And Pay The ?100.00 to have someone do it for you.....:lollypop:
