Colleagues, I need to invest in some universal key coding equipment. I am thinking about OBDSTAR (I do not like him) X300 PRO 4 (only immo). I know that most of it is online and there is practically no support :(. I need to read the pin from Hyundai I10 2017 and I lack the equipment for newer models. I was thinking about the TDB equipment, or Lonsdor K518?

I don't have X300 but maybe will be better to buy im508 + XP400 if you want to program MB

im508 can't read 4d based Hyundais but read good id46 based

go with the TDB and you wont be dissapointed (for Hyundai and kia) the I10 is covered for pincode reading (and after purchase you will find out a surprise)
Best Regards

for example (my own experience, my own tool)

every kline PSA key learning is a mess. Xsara picasso, 307, 206...etc
Every old ford key lerning like pre 2001 ford with 4C transponders
Banana shaped keyles ford key learning like Ford Focus around 2007
Opel/Vauxhall pin code reading in general especially when you are trying to read the old kline cars or from the info display.
And yes i've been reported many times to the support team. They don't care.
cheers :)

For Kia / Hyundai I learned it is best to go with DiagCode VIN2PIN tool. But supports cars only until 12.2016.

For other cars you better buy a few tools, not just one - X300, Lonsdor, etc.

I have ran into lots of locksmith boys asking me why we can not programme some keys when tools are capable to programme keys, the bottom line is hundreds of chips were invented for deferent type of cars and some chips need to be programme before programming to car, in short the locksmith takes over 5 years, you can buy the most expensive tools without hard training and investment I would advice you need to think twice.

I know what's going on. Before I issue another one, I want to ask other users about experience with these devices. There will never be a stage in our business that we have enough equipment.
I am terrified by the specter of using equipment that most operations do online, but I think those times have come.

I wast 2 days to wait beep beep - Asked few times for support - answer was please read instructions

I need something for Asian brands. I have tango + barracuda for Toyota, SKP1000 - not stupid, but zero udate. H100 for Ford and Suzuki.
Lonsdor, OBDSTAR do not have bad reviews, but there is a risk of closing projects for some time.

Just saw few videos with TDB1000 for Hyunday - on most of them they program key with pin code from dealer

Also will be surprised that Hyunday don't include Kia - so for total cost of £1200 you will have tool that work with dealer pincodes

---------

With Autel I just fail to add regular key on i10 2019 ID47 - there is option for key program but can't read the pin code

there is option to read pincode from smart keys ID47 but doesn't work on regular key

now I can see your point so nevermind dont buy the tool because in order to use it there is more involved than just push buttons and collect money.. in the long term its better that way.
good thing is that there are more tools that suit the level of expertice and the demands of all users all over the world I wish all the best with your investments

Hyundai I20 2017 EU - remote prepare by XHORSE universal remote. Use SKP1000 and program remote (not immo) as Hyundai Elantra.
