500x key not detected
Dear locksmith,
500x arrived with water inside RFH module(= control unit for keys)
Tried to dry the RFH and remove oxide now it detect the key only if it is pressed against the start button.
A new RFH module behave the same.
Changed key battery, same problem.
Both key same behaviour.
Plus one key doesn't lock/unlock the car.
Tried every possible configuration with original diagnostic.
If I press a button with the SPECIFIC NON LOCKING KEY an error in EOBD immediately appear in the diagnostic:
"sync the key"
and the suggestion is: by driving the car.
I drove the car but nothing.
Apart this, both key are hard to detect through the start/run button.
Maybe the waterized RFH module has damaged the electronic inside the start/run button?
If I test the door handle with diagnostic it says that it recognize left and right front door handle
but the whole test fail because rear door handle are not recognized.
If I test the key location the car doesn't recognize where are the key (they are both inside).
The diagnostic say something like:
0 keys in trunk
0 keys in front (seats?)
0 keys in rear (seats?)
But if I lock the car with the mechanical key and I leave one key inside the car will open immediately the car,
so I think the car know there is a key inside and prevent to keep the car lock untill the man remove the key inside.
I will try the old RFH module and see if it the start/run button behave the same.
Please suggest something to do.
