D2 volvo ecu read

Hi has anyone managed to read a D2 Volvo ecu? I recently bought a ktag v7.020 that works with ksuite v2.25 as I saw it can read the continental/siemens sid807 ecu in both Ford and Peugeot but now see it doesn't give an option for Volvos fitted with this ecu :dispirited:. So my question is has anyone had any success reading this ecu and if so what with? and secondly I think I already know the answer to this but is there any way it can be read it using the Ford/Peugeot option for the same ecu?

China ktag wont read it, some of first production sid807 ktag can read but later ecms not.

Thanks for the reply. I think you are right as I just managed to read it with protocol 178 for Ford without any issue but mine is a 2011 so one of the first productions. I've heard that after 2012 Fords and Volvos are pin protected
