View Full Version : Siemens PCR 2.1 DieselGate Downgrade.

Hello.

I have in the shop one Seat Altea 1.6 TDI with ecu updated , "dieselgate".
The car runs like crap, injectors noise, low torque, high temperatures.. you know.

The original PART NUMBER of the ecu (labeled) is : 03L906023GG, i have in *.frf this versions:

03L906023GG:
*8801
*9428
*9616
*9970
*9971

I read that version after 9977 (inclusive) is dieselgate, in this ecu seems to coincide

After dieselgate PART NUMBER of the ecu is: 03L997558D, with 9779 version, i have in *.frf this versions:

03L997558D:
*9977
*9979
*9981

I tried with ODIS-E 9.2.2 flash 03L906023GG 9971, but appears "NO VALID FLASH SESSION FOR THE CURRENT CONTROL MODULE".

The advanced configuration in ODIS-E to check the files are disabled... so the problem seems that ODIS dont work to change PART NUMBER (03L997558D to 03L906023GG). Any solution for this?

The ecu is eeprom unlocked, but I dont think thats the problem.
I have VCP and AVDI clone, but I dont try to flash the *frf. I don`t have X17 ;).

One option, flash in boot mode older version and IMMO off?

last version before diselgate is 9971
also you can forget about immo off on PCR2.1
Only existing solution for immo off is with emulator

Downgraded from 03L997558D (9979) to 03L906023GG (9971) (Ecu sticker shows 03L906023GG ) succesfully with VCP Clone. After flash reset DPF, EGR, turbo and other adaptatives values.
Removed also the "flow straightener" from MAF housing (3C0129363).
No more noise from injectors, more power, torque and better mileage. The car run very jerky at lows RPM (another shop tell that the injectors are bad), after downgrade no more jerks. Also less noisy at idle.
Waiting for the client to tell me how the regenerations work.

Where can you check which version is dieselgate?
