Hello,
My car is in my driveway in High Wycombe on Benjamin Road. My battery went flat which triggered my alarm, I then disconnected the battery to stop the alarm but the noise continued, throughout the day, gradually becoming quieter until it eventually stopped. I then bought a battery charger and charged the battery. When I put the battery back in the vehicle it makes a constant beeping noise until I turn the ignition. Although the noise stops the car does not react to the ignition being turned.
Furthermore, the key fob does not lock/unlock the vehicle. I strongly believe it is an issue with the key fob/immobiliser.
I got a quote from a garage for 300 pounds which is not worth spending.
I would like to know if anyone could tell me if it is possible to bypass the immobiliser and what I need to do.
Car make and model: Rover 25 SI 84 3DR (2004)
ECU: Motorola NNN100743
Thanks in advance.
