Programs and Tools for the Open Media

If you've just bought an Open Media CS receiver then you're probably wondering how to set it up! :)

The insides of if Open Media are exactly the same as the dreambox only there's 2 of certain areas. Because you have cable and satellite capabilities in the same receiver, you have 2 tuners and 2 flash chips.

All Tools and Programs that you use with the dreambox will work on the Open Media, i.e. Flash Wizard Pro, Dreamup, DreamboxEdit, etc.

Check out the stickys in the Dreambox Forum (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f34/) as they all apply to the Open Media. :)

hi i brought a open media box upgrdaded to the 1.1 firmware then followed the how to ftp the 9 roms into the box which did succesfuly but then told to reboot then reboot go to sky one press info the emulation box comes on but still empty please help

Lambert, did you use the roms/ keys from the link in guide? cos they are ancient, I had the same issue until I found the latest ones and then it worked no problem.

what is the best 2 in 1 reeciever is it the open media or dream box 8000 for a newbie

I've got an openbox s10, i get no cccam channels. Any one with the files to update?

I've had a problem with my openbox s10. I no longer get $ channels, it may need a cccam usb update. You wouldn't know how how to get these?
