For 2 days I had 2 calls with similar problems

Astra J 2011 automatic
Insignia 2010 manual

When turn the key to start all lights from dash disappear and engine wont crank

This looks similar like when you don't press clutch peadal on Astra J and Insignia

when I shrot the starter motor relay cars cranks and start - but relays are OK - I replaced them also can check them live with Autel

Thought that maybe switch behaind the ignition barell is faulty and changed without success on both cars

On both cars programmed new keys - the same situation

Both cars has fault codes only on breaking system

I changed ignition switch on both cars - also Autel show that is OK

BCM also looks OK because with Autel I can do live test on the starter relay and its work

on insignia is possible faulty clutch switch - I cant find option on Autel for check it and customer will replace it

but on Astra this isn't possible becaus is automatic gear box that is on Park position and work good when start the car

on Monday will go back to Astra
