2006 bmw 325i All keys lost

My son has a 2006 bmw 325i and lost his only key. Whats is the best option to program a new one?

I have a x100 pad2 pro but it dont seem to communicate with cas module even though my snapon scanner will scan the car even with no key... sounds odd.

should i get a r270 and try that way? i have a ak90+ but we know thats for ews.

Non of your tools will do keys for this car. Find some local locksmith and let them do it. Unless you want to spend few grands on equipment...

when its not updated to a crypted version you can make key with r270, and hitag2 v3.1
for crypto version need better key programmer (vvdi2, acdp, cgpro, cgdi bmw)

locksmiths can only order a new key. what could i use to do this myself?

the chip number is mc9s12dg256c

i remember the x100 had option to update cas or revert i think. dunno why it wont communicate with the car but snapon will

Or you could buy VVDI2 tool for around $1200 do your car and start your own business all will be free in the end!

That going to be a cas 2 system non keyless go (proxy goes into slot). Best advise (explore or autohex) even thou many programs can add a key to the system, 80% of them will loose Sinx with dme. Or other faults will come up giving you a non start car, all codes must be clear. If you don’t clear faults code and they stay clear the customer will be back for your Asss.

Car is staying open before lost key ? cool !
Simply go to BMW to bought an original one £150 ( direct key start the car ) , or contact local locksmith if emergency need car , he can sell you £6 key made in china for same price than BMW dealer :congrats:

80% :loyal: ... for ELV error : yes ! .... & 1% for DME with 11.5V battery
are you serious ? I think even x100pad2 pro able to do this job on CAS2 ( i never test mine , BMW is not a game i accord you ! ) , difficult is only on CAS3 + ISTAP update after 2010

the last 325i E90 i saw was a cas 3 system in uk , easily coded with abrites or vvdi2

he actually found an old key but said it didnt work. the coil was bad to power it. replaced coil with one off a fob i got off ebay and all is good!
