Hello,

Well i need help with EDC17C06 from BMW 2008/08.

I read with KESS from tricore boot and make full backup

Next Write only maps from KTAG boot mode but car donīt start anymore.

I try write again my backup and i canīt kess donīt recognise ecu and ktag only show me vin number:YYYYYYYYYYY

Anyone can help me with this?

I think you need ori bdm read and flash with ktag and you`ll be fine. Checked your kess read and seems to be corrupted. I ALWAYS read edc17xxxx on the bench.

You can try flash this ori file.

you damaged eeprom 99% and 1% is chance from flash to repair this ecu ,you need full back up to resore to restore this ecu

You can try flash this ori file.

But now i have problems to write, KESS donīt recognise ecu and donīt write.

Ktag only write if i have 3 files, if i try write only EEPROM or only FLASH file Ktag only say "operation not allowed" :(

Already recovered but the car donīt start i think need immo off.

Write in recovery what you read with KESS. Any tuning on whis ecu, only read in BDM.

- what kinds of faults you have now?
- you write random bdm backup or your file?
