this car never can go to 208 hp in stg1
this engine lost power in stock 150 152 hp max dyno tested many times
190 hp in stage1 you will be happy :)

thats why the file i have provided is not a stage1 tune my friend these can easily get 200+ with the modifications he has listed tested also many times

choose recovery option and flash ori back on obviously something went wrong hows the voltage did you have a stable source of power to the battery
also if your fans are running make sure to unplug them its just under the front bumper

My mpps cable doesnt have recovery mode and yes steady power to the battery

16th February, 2020, 10:09 PM
in the right hand corner it will say recovery? will it ID and communicate?

mrjay88
16th February, 2020, 10:11 PM
No mate deffo no recovery its mpps 13.02 if that helps

chrisimerk
16th February, 2020, 10:15 PM
for starters i would not have used mpps with this ecu especially v13 its not stable if i new you had used v13 i would have said use kessv2 for this ecu and dont risk writing the file with mpps if it was v18 then ok that has no problems was your voltage above 13v?

mrjay88
16th February, 2020, 10:26 PM
yes it was just above 13v i have used this cable many times on my car i did the egr and dpf delete my self with the same cable oh and i added a popcorn limiter in the past work fine no problem

chrisimerk
16th February, 2020, 10:30 PM
can you communicate with it? will it let you write ori?

mrjay88
16th February, 2020, 10:31 PM
yes i can. ive noticed though the map u sent has dt at the end mine is df

chrisimerk
16th February, 2020, 10:46 PM
right thats good write this file should have no problems with it mate

same pass

mrjay88
16th February, 2020, 10:49 PM
ive tried to write my original file back to the car it errors on security acsess

chrisimerk
16th February, 2020, 11:01 PM
looks like your going to have to bdm it and write ori there was nothing wrong with the file i provided as i have used it on many ppds with the same modifications so something not quite right with tool on this occasion maybe mpps messed up checksum or voltage drop hard to say mate

mrjay88
16th February, 2020, 11:04 PM
i dont have a bdm mate i wouldnt even know where to start is my car dead

chrisimerk
16th February, 2020, 11:12 PM
Only way to recover ecu is to bdm its locked ecu aka bricked these are the risks when messing with ecu especially using dated tools v13 has no recovery option if you was using kess v2 or v18 you might have been able to recover it v13 is not stable maybe it worked in the past but there are always risks anything can go wrong.
if you dont know what your doing then look about for someone in your area who can bdm and write the new file a provided thats all i can do from here mate

mrjay88
16th February, 2020, 11:20 PM
so if i buy a mpps v18 or kess v2 can i recover my ecu via the odb port

chrisimerk
16th February, 2020, 11:25 PM
possibly as the latest kess v2 clone has a recovery option and is way more stable and also v18 can also recover but i would use that money to pay someone to bdm it as i cant guarantee that kess and v18 will be able to recover it through obd

try to flash this file in recovery by mpps and put battery charger during flashing and report here

try to flash this file in recovery by mpps and put battery charger during flashing and report here

my mpps v13 does have recovery mode but now even in recovery mode all i get is (required time delay not expired followed by invalid key) on mpps

AVDigitale
17th February, 2020, 12:35 AM
you have write check and you have speed up and make slow speed recovery you will see
put my file and car will start

so basically set my mpps to recovery mode and write your file to my car and it will start

chrisimerk
17th February, 2020, 01:21 AM
If it takes AVDs file as that is the original that has not been messed with it should take it and recover then flash the new file that I posted

ok i will try tomorrow as its late now ive been reading up that when mpps says (required time delay not expired followed by invalid key) you have to wait 30 minutes with the ignition on because its locked me out is this true

chrisimerk
17th February, 2020, 01:44 AM
Yes it true another thing v13 does its the clone software that's the issue but anyway leave the ignition on for a full 10/30 minutes to let the timer expire then try again

ok so leave the ignition on for 30 minutes with a good battery charger connected do i need the mpps cable plugged in the whole time with the software open or leave the mpps unplugged then plug it after 30 minutes with the ignition still on or turn the ignition off after 30 mins then plug it in then flash sorry for my stupidity just want to be 100% also if i was to buy a mpps v16 or v18 will i still have this timer issue or will it bypass it. and am right in saying this is neither of our fault its just a crap cable

yeah your tool is not very good if all your wanting to do is that car or your own cars then purchase mpps v16 its cheap but still better and more stable then v13

hello first what instrument did you read and write with? now does ecu id you?what ecu mounts?disassemble laws in bdm? if you do not have to identify in bdm, try manually with the right protocol. if you can read the original mail flash and flash read in bdm

Take your ecu to an professional that can flash a FRF our buy a ktag clone and read the bdm file and post it here.

ive orded a mpps v18 tricore multiboot hopefully that will recover it and im able to bench flash with that whats the best bench power supply and what voltage and amps do you guys run or does it depend on the ecu

AVDigitale
18th February, 2020, 08:08 PM
your ecu need BDM not tricore
KTAG is good for BDM or FGTech Galletto

right ive been doing a lot of reading and research from what i understand the optican 201 is the bdm adaptor i need for my ppd but what box is compatible with the optican 201 i.e ktag bdm100 etc.. and what bench power supply is good for this i understand the ecu needs 13 volts but how many amps
