hi
can anybody advise me on the procedure
for manually programming a 2006 ford ranger additional key I believe its its a id8c transponder key and also how do you retrieve or find out the correct codeword for the programmng and how it is nput any advse is appreciated

Try searching and reading. All the information you need to make keys for your Ranger, or anyone elses, is already here on this public forum. It's probably why I lost my luggage from my hire car in Lanzarote recently.
Some one with more enthusiasm will be along shortly to tell you just how to do it.

You may want to post your region.
In the US a 06 Ranger uses a 4d63 40bit transponder.
Manual programming requires 2 keys.
Insert key 1 and turn ignition "ON", wait 3 seconds and then remove.
with in 10 seconds, insert key 2 and turn ignition "ON", wait 3 seconds and remove.
Insert and ignition "ON" with new key to be programmed.
Done.
