You need to remove the radio mate ... And the calc only does up to mi 1999.... What kind of radio ..? and Vectra B,..or C...

erm, it says it's a Phillips Car 400.

it's a "W" reg 2.0 Dti Vectra B- which i think means it was a year 2000.

bugger, so i can;t get it unlocked easily then?

some of the ones on the internet are asking 25/30 quid to unlock it. i could buy a replacement for that much!

The vectra is a 2000 mate ...theres a good chance the radio is older .... won't know till you post the number....

I appreciate you looking for me and honestly believe that you are correct. I dont think that you would take to me too kindly, if I was to say, thanks car235, but it didnt work, has anyone else got another code. I am new here and dont want to offend anyone, as I really am thankful for any help given to me. I remembered that in my old astra, I changed the stereo for a multi-changer Sony, and that I had a spare stereo in the loft. I thought that I'd give that a try instead. I dont want to upset anyone, and I'm not looking for loads off codes, I just want a banger I bought for a european car trip to have some music in it.

As you have mentioned it, if you wouldnt mind checking the code for me, it would be much appreciated, as the 400 is the better stereo.

Can anyone tell me how these codes are calculated? Can't seem to use CalGen 2009 to figure them out with the normal BP algorithm, what am I missing? How does the algorithm differ from the standard Blaupunkt one? If it's the same as Blaupunkt I think I must be missing the part number, how do you work out what it is?
