Kess v2 volvo edc16c34 read by obd lead help please

Hi Need obd lead 144300k264 to read volvo by obd .But i read somewhere that if you attatch a wire to the spare plug on standard odb kess lead to pin 43? on the edc16c34 ecu it will then read and write to the car without the correct volvo lead .Is that correct ?? Thanks

That's Volvo EDC16C31 not the C34.

With original Kess you can do the C34 by obd.
