Espace IV 2009 cant add 2button card with RET

Espace IV 2009 cant add 2button card with RET. It has connection when ignition ON. It says pull card out - then FAILED to connect/read pin etc.
Car is 2button non-HF. Reader is white led.
When trying to connect via RED led - it says choose old system.

test tool on another car ( using kwp2000 protocol ) maybe an defective cable ? ignition : ON OR OFF tool must read car info ...
personally i use 18$ blue Renolink to read PIN code & ddt2000 screen to program cards
