Edc17cp44 stays in boot mode? Need fast advice. Touareg 2016

Hi guys,

I read a 2016 edc17cp44 Touareg 3.0 with ktag.

Read and write was ok. I used boot pin.

Putting ECU back in car there is no communication with ECU and the fans are spinning.

Any ideas how to get this solved?

Have you flashed back the ori file?

Not yet.

I will flash it back. Customer comes with ECU in approximately 20 minutes.

Just flash the original file back, and have a look again on your mod

I thought about to read ECU with Delphi via obd on bench to check whether it communicates.

Should be possible, right?

At first look - there is 100% difference in the first half of the files...
You did the remap on actual read, or?

ECU stays in boot mode I think.

I could read EPROM without boot pin.

Any Ideas?

Problem is in that some one who made dump not understand one! When he add original dump they see 100% same project but they not understand (calibras is 100% not data) and he cancel inport and use dump who is in database and here you see what happen.

So you wrote complete ori backup and still no comms?
Check engine light is on when ignition is on too?

Your fileservice should know that boot/bdm readouts must be edited directly / differences transfered....he cant just send you a file he already has and winols says 100% same...its ok for obd reads (but even then i wouldnt recommend it) but not for boot reads

Lord... I thought I was in big trouble but now I feel better.

I told the tuner to adjust egr rate like it was before the VW update.

Customer wants diesel gate software back/egr should work like with Dieselgate software and a stage 1.

So it seems that this didn't work.
