Any solution for this problem ?

The plastic part of key is hitting hard against the clamp and covering the last cut

Thanks in advance

Did you try to take out metal blade from the plastic fob?

Key blade is moulded to plastic Manta will have to take it to a friend and use his machine

I had this problem with my old A5 with Chr-15 type blank, what i did was to trim the bottom of the key head by about 3MM, and smooth off with a fine file. i have few ready.

Thanks Nazz I’ll try that.

You’d think with the amount of A5-A9 sold into America they would have a work around

I tried both jma and silca, both are the same,i am afraid.

You sure that is a cut position #1?
Many older chrysler rke's here in the states have cuts near that bow like that in your picture that are not used or part of the code series.

On SEC E9z I have function direct copy maybe your machine has the same function
and then if cant cut the first cut you can cut it manually

Have a new case with detachable blade I’ll bust key out of original trace it and re-case

Thanks

Filed case down and managed to trace the blade. Re-cased the original key with new case and detachable blade and cut new spare again with detachable blade.

Pain in the ass 🙈

There shouldnt be a cut that close to head of key if its 8 cut dodge system. Ive cut tons of these on miracle a9.696402

Pick shows the cut and it’s an original key

Guys, you can change the tip stop position by touching the screen on the picture of the tip stop position.
It will cycle through the 3 different options

It’s not the stop position the plastic remote case hits tight against the jaw with a cut in the middle of the clamp

LOL, no one seems to be getting this, even with changing stop positions, the key tip does not reach the stop!!! ie, the key/blade is not long enough.

Your right Nazz picture clearly shows this. Had to file original key and re-case it as suggested

Key code is M0080
Bitting is 13312231
The notches before the first cut (1) is not for wafers, it is seen only on dash mounted ignition locks where vehicle has ESL

Jimmy07
7th March, 2020, 12:06 AM
Yes this has a dash mounted key with ESL

Don’t do a lot of these and was going to trace it just didn’t want to start snapping tracers

Pain in the arse this one as nothing was pulling pin from Skim. MVP pro failed and a host of other tools

Column mounted ignition doesn't have the notches in key shank

Good news mate , it took me a while but i sussed it, the only correct menu which you can move the stop from position 4 to position 3, is in the Ilko menu, page 7 under Y162. thats on A5 ,so yours might be slightly different.

Thanks Nazz next time I get one I’ll look into it. Wondered what was going on as thousands of these cutting machines were shipped to the states so had to be a way

We do not use those cuts in the states, only the normal 1-8. So none here would notice.
