Hello there!

This is my first post and I'm so excited! I bought this radio from a friend that sold it from his car and this is my plan: I want to use the CDC protocol to connect my smartphone via bluetooth and use radio controls to manage the smartphone it self (essentially next/previous track or a "connect a new device" command).
I know, there already exists devices to do this, but I want to learn something!

My first issue is the "check error" when connected to a bench PSU and I think it is due to the missing CAN Bus (I'm not so sure, this is my first time in car audio world).

So, here are my question:

1) is it possible to disable CAN Check?
2) Does anybody know this CDC protocol?

I upload the 24LC128 dump and a picture with all the numbers to provide you with the complete situation.

Thank you in advance,

DrChi

PS: code must be 2434.

Thank you so much! It works!

But now I'm curious: how you can achieve this? I know how to read the code, but it's extremely hard to find some information about disabling Cancheck.

Thank you in advice,

DrChi
