Re Using Remap`s. VW CAYE,CAYD, PCR2.1.

Hello.

Is it ok to use same remap on lets say the VW with the diesel scandale that have the same SW upgrade number? Seems like all of the cars have been given the same SHITTY map (Micro), witch causes injectors,egr`s and differencial pressure dpf sensors to fail.

Leaving some info read`s for you if you want to check. Also ori zip.
Have the same caddy myself, and my tuner only making me files for pcr 2.1 1.6 R4 now, mabey boring for him after a while! haha =)
Encountered a wrong file on partner once, ant the worst case was only clutch switch and eolyse. =)
But Vin and engine code may be different in diagnostic read i know, but does it really matters.(?) Immo is stored in 2mb read?
(The last one is locked i know.) (Kess 2.53. Cracked)

Yes. The unlock by tricore is ok. I never solder, obly bdm frame, with pogo and resistor. And stage 1 will probably do the same job on injector problem. But all i wanted to know is about using the same remap on this cars with same sw upgrade number. Seems VW group put same shit software in every car. Or do sw and hw have to be exactly the same to use same stage1/egr delete. Have some good files now, thats why i wonder. 🙂

Ok, but every VW i have read have the same sw upgade number, must be the same file they transfer to every ecu?
I manage to write wrong file to Tproot Psa edc16 locked, unlock first ofcourse, but never had problem with writing correct after.
Even after test drive in limp mode...

yes, correct,can`t overhault this injector.
In Norway they dont do it anymore, only new continental, or vdo. =)

Ok, i have a good remapper i use, dieselpowerfiles, very happy with him, good tuner! so i have every files for this cars, but thanks.
Only wanted to know if its safe to use the remap on same sw hw number, or if only sw upgrade is the same, if that would work.
On lets say CAYE to CAYD.

The kess is doing it automatic after you read eeprom, is this program mabey good for V54 or something? =)
But you have to open and unlock ecu anyway, correct, cant only read obd direct, the ecu will be blocked? =) with the pcr unlock software?

Can`t find the pcr2.1 protocol on my Ktag, but its from china, so mabey not so weard.

Aaah! is this the vcp pro, the polish tool? Yes heard alot good about this!
And only obd eeprom read and unlock?! thats awesome!
Can take kess directly by obd after when its unlocked! I see they write flash and everything with the vcp also?!
Is only original, or can get cracked or clone?
Do you know the price if only genuine, not copy.? =)
