Pioneer Carrozzeria language change

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but I couldn't find anything similar apart from in radio decodes which this isn't .

Anyway, I have a Pioneer Carrozzeria Model AVIC- RW33 fitted as standard in a Japanese imported Toyota Prius and in japanese. Is there anyway to update the firmware or anything to include english so that it can then be used in UK or is it stuck in japanese forever?

Heard of someone doing it. However the price he asked is way too high. You can replace it with a new pioneer unit.
