dreambox locked on channel

ok here one for you my mate has a dreambox 500c with dw 2 image on it runs fine as has the box its self, 3 weeks ago he told me that he went to it and all he could see on his screen was a channell 444 and his remote was flashing all the time told him to bring it to me but couldnt replicate the problem i had it all day and nothing happend now hes told me that its doing it again its stuck on 444 and wont move even tho hes unplugged it am thinking there is a problem with the remote but not sure now he cant scroll bouquets or anything what you think ??

well to rule out other mishaps id reflash it, if it comes back with the same error it will prob be box/remote problem. never heard of this before but when ive had things go amiss ive just reflashed and its been fine.

sounds like the "4"key on the remote is sticking to me, lol
open remote and give it a good clean.

ok ive cleaned the remote just have to wait and see if it does it again
