Hi,

I am trying to swap ECU in Polo 1.2 petrol.

I managed to get pin from both ECU and followed procedure mentioned on Ross Tech site.
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Immobilizer_IV_ECU_Swapping

Pin from new(used) ECU is accepted and when I go to adaptation it shows stored value as '0' and it doesnt allow me to enter old pin.

Attached is the screenshot of adaptation screen.

Please help me with correct procedure of swapping the ECU.

Thanks.

I will explain the whole scenario.

Mine is polo and for some reason I started getting Immobilizer error.

I swapped mine ECU, Cluster and Transponder with Skoda Fabia ECU, Cluster and Transponder.

Now there is no immobilizer error but car is not starting.. I suspect ECU of Fabia is faulty so was planning to swap ECU with my original ECU, hence all this workaround :).
