This doesn't have to do with decoding so my apologies if it doesn't belong here.
Has anyone determined or seen anything about fixing the ford sync gen 2 APIM modules?
Having seen a lot of these with problems where the screen goes black, no communications, ect.
I have a couple of them here as scrap that I have replaced.
At first I was thinking that reflowing the MPU might be the trick, but thinking about it more I don't know that would cause no communications..
There is no visual issues with any of the boards. No darkened or burnt areas or components.
If this isn't the right forum for this, can someone point me in the direction of a board that is?
