Carprog and a vw golf IV

Hi i have carprog and all addapters but never used it before, and i am thinking to fetch my immo pin so i can program a new key to my car

Is it possible to do this with carprog via the OBDII or do i need to take out the cluster or something like that?

Try a fvdi 2014 , its cheap and has alot of function to read cluster for vw and making keys since you need to make a dealer key.
