edc17cp14 PLEASE HELP!!!!!

i have tried to clone a passat cc ecu edc17cp14 through ktag as the board got damaged opening
i copied both files off the damaged ecu (eeprom and micro) and backed up the new one, had the immo taken off the new micro file and wrote the old ecu eeprom to the new one, things up and running but eml light on and coil light flashing. been reading something about the eeprom news editing but unsure. can anyone help or any ideas on what to try

and at the minute the new ecu is running the ori micro file with the immo off and the old ecu eeprom and runs just the engine light and coil

701328Make sure,that the new ecu is in the state, before you played with it.
Then write this new adapted immo.


You can not mix, or clone edc17 your way.

So the flash off the new ecu, and the adapted eeprom off this new eeprom will start your car.

Why not correct VIN and encode the new ecu from 0 with ODIS or VAGCOM?

Copy IROM from original ECU to the new one and use adapted EEP.

You can not mix eeprom and flash files.
And you labeled the flash files immo off.
The immo is in your eeprom file, not flash.

So i adapted the new ecu eeprom file.
You write this back in the new ecu.
And the flash file, from the new ecu needs to be like it whas whn you first read it.

Then the the car will start.

rob h thank you that worked and tothzsolt thats for the reply i got there in the end but thank you aswel for the help, i only labled the flash file immo off because someone edited the file and appently turned the immo off in the maps file?? true or not i dont know but thanks guys

Indeed, the flash files you've posted are immo-off files.
