That happens because you are using wrong software, or cooked versions of ksuite. If you use proper version there is no risk to block anything even with internet connected.

What version KESS(KTAG) and Ksuite was used?

fw 3, fw 4 and fw 5 for sure because after this version this tool have no problem with internet
