I have an antenna that was broken on a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox. A new one was bought, but as far as I understand it would have to be programmed to the vehicle. The new one has a different part number, and while the original had a 95040 Eeprom, the replacement doesn't have one. Do I have to use SPS to do a VTD relearn, or is there a way to clone information off one antenna to the other?

The original antenna wire was broken when they tried to remove the ignition with a broken key inside. Since I'm doing to the job to help someone, I'd rather avoid paying for the SPS subscription, but if that's the only way, so be it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200403/cb23d5169b6a1fb2a8a6f891911a945d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200403/a5a308e91e854753419e6da963719d23.jpg

Why not just repair the wire or swap the new coil to the old module?

I tried to resolder the wire on the old one for the antenna, but it is still not functioning. I thought about swapping the whole antenna module from the original to the new as another option.

Ended up desoldering Eeprom and resoldering on new antenna. Worked with their original keys thank you guys.
